Makes sense since this isn't a perfect world. I haven't read anything new from Tom Peters recently but I think he anticipated the " new economy" in his "Chaos" book.

I'll have to check that idea out although I would think the value chain model would apply. The Frontier paper from CSFB seemed to have used it and they were strictly dealing with gorilla types, not slow growth /mature.
