Hi, Heinz - do you know the total market cap of all
US stocks? I read somewhere NYSE composite stocks are like
164% of US GDP or so... I don't know if that is true. I
guess, the total value of US stocks could exceed the total
GDP of the world at some point. Could be 70% of it right now. Insane, isn't it? In 1929 US stocks market CAP was 70% of US GDP. Japanese stocks were 130% of their GDP in 1989.
