HELP!!! SOMEBODY ANSWER Post #24675 better than me! Like ya might have some knowledge or something.

Good question!

polvie, I was told a long time ago by a relative of mine to get in the market 5 weeks before earning and get out at or before earnings and stay out approx. 7 weeks and reenter and repeat......makes all the difference in the world.

Well! I never did it but you can bet your boots (ya got ya some boots dontcha?) I is doing it this time........

I guess this is where the ones that do know the game and how to play it, screw the ones that don't know the game and how to play it. Well I has been on the getting screwed end just about long enough.

I remember over on the RNWK board last year about this time before earnings it was busy and doing an earnings run....earnings came/went and I not only got screwed as the stock fell I was the only one left on the board....I asked if someone gave a party and forgot to invite me. Someone said "Dealer! Everybody is playing the earnings game." Duh!

love,
dealie

Buy the Rumor sell the news, this market as far as I'm concern is a traders dream. For now, the Buy and hold crap just doesn't work to much any more as least for me. QCOM is a great example. Man I read this thread and hear all the horror stories such as KGB.

You said the key word it's all one freaking MANIPULATION game.

I'm still trying to figure out how a slow economy will help the markets in the long run. Slow economy=slow earnings=lower stock prices etc. Wall Street rallies on Bad news you figure.
