Yes, Joseph appears to have made a few dodgy calls in that he...never gets it right. That is definitely bullish for semis.

The other last point is that I am a huge semi bull. Everything (except Intel) from ASM to ST Micro, from Hana Microelectronics in Thailand to Carsem in Malaysia. From Mirae in Korea to KLAC I love them all. The only thing is that, being English, I try and work out how it can all go wrong. I found that difficult to do in 1999. I'm finding it easier now but my guess is that we are still only 60-80% the way through the "physical" cycle on the basis of fundamentals and 75-100% of the way through in terms of stock price movement (given that there is small amount of discounting going on). ie we could well have another 12 months of stock price upside.
