Michael,

I get that newsletter as well. His other newsletter, California Technology Stock Newsletter, had ifmx - which
also plummetted earlier this week. If you read his
update from last Saturday, he was still optimistic on bmcs.

One concern I have of his is that he never admits that he is wrong. I made some $ with snps earlier this year ($43 - $49 in a couple of days). I'll send you a pm to finish this conversation.

Michael,

I'm pretty familiar with the cdo story. What is it that makes you think the stock will turnaround?
My 3 main concerns are: 1) the quality of earnings has been
dependant upon venture capital gains - and this may be
drying up; 2) the Prism spinoff is dependant upon the
dsl market picking up - right now it is in terrible shape; and 3) the net tracking stock is a non-factor, unless net stocks come back (albeit cdo does have a number of biotech holdings as well).

Just curious as to why you remain optimistic. I don't mind buying on the dip if I have reason for an upswing. tia
