ATTENTION: The Salomon Smith Barney article DID NOT ORIGINATE HERE! A quick search of Raging Bull shows many posts of the same article BEFORE Carolyn posted it here. Unfortunately, those on Raging Bull also were fooled by the bogus article. So there was no way that Carolyn could have known that the article was phoney. . . nor was there reason for her to believe the article was a hoax. Below are earlier copies from Raging Bull and Yahoo. . . there are probably earlier posts, but it was posted so many times there that a search of the key words within the article pulls up too many to fit on a page. But the important matter as far as this thread is concerned is this. . . the following links are to posts elsewhere in cyberspace at EARLIER TIMES of the day than Carolyn's post here on the HOME thread. . . rendering Carolyn INNOCENT of any wrongdoing. She is one of our regulars. . . and any further attacks regarding this mixup should be directed to me. Earlier link: ragingbull.altavista.com Here are even earlier examples on the Yahoo board, which is the likely original source of the article: messages.yahoo.com or messages.yahoo.com The article appears many hundreds of times on message boards throughout cyberspace. . . hours BEFORE it was posted on the HOME thread.
