Ratbert Thanks for your comments. I can sympathize with this philosophy in general, but aren't you forgetting that SI is exclusive by nature? I'm sure that neither you nor anyone else here would want to rely on the yahoo thread. Nor more exclusive than buying stocks....people can't post here if they can't afford to pay the dues...I think they are $160 now....while I am not saying that economic inequities are good, its one thing not to be able to join SI because you don't have the dinero and its quite another because your skin is the wrong color, or you practice the wrong religion or you say the wrong things....I hope you can see the difference. I think this approach is better than the "I'm going to kick ** off of SI" flame wars we had a few weeks ago.* In the beginning there was only flame wars....and the people learned much.....that was good. ted Terms of Use
