Hutch, The subject was whether the stock market was a zero sum game, therefore I mentioned dividends. I personally don't care a thing about receiving dividends because of their tax inefficiency.

I mentioned Jeff Bezos and the other CEO's as examples of people who made much money from the stock market with no one that I know of losing on the other side of the trade.

I know about the table fees in poker, so let me restate it:
"Ron, If you and I play two handed poker in your kitchen, with no rake-off, and you win $100, I will lose $100, unless we get robbed, in which case we both lose." That is my example of a zero sum game.

Anyone else having problems posting PMs?

Tried to send you one Hutch, but couldn't get through.

However, you again reflect my attitude towards the issue of winners and losers in the stock market.

The trend is your friend and if you are smart enough to discern the trend before the "herd", you can make money in ANY MARKET.

Btw, did you get that coffee cleaned up... <ROFLMAO!!!>

Regards,

Ron
