The above statement might not be true should QCOM decided to enter W-CDMA market w/ their future chipset supporting dual mode operation.

Even in cdma2000, the royaty that Qualcom collecting from major mobile station manufacture such as Nokia, Ericson, and Motorola may also be limited compare to cdmaOne.

Removing Chipset business to collect Royalty alone would probrably reduce big Q revenue quit abit, I would think. Anyone care to do the number?
