excellent observation!

I heard #6 has a man whose only job is to check for clearance, but like you said the aerodynamics at speed are different.

The suggestions of putting in kill switches is, IMVHO, not viable. Not enough reaction time.

They need to eliminate the cause of the problem, instead of limiting the effects.

I also read in today's paper that several drivers have complained about the track. I guess there's a bump at the end of the backstretch going into turn 3.

It comes to mind that maybe inexperienced drivers can't handle the situation that arises when they hit the bump at 160. I'd imagine there's a moment of hesitation and then it's too late.

Who knows?

This is a horrible state of affairs right now for NASCAR.
