Haqui, Christians must realize how important the time frames predicting Christ's Second Coming really are and be ready to discuss the probability of Christ returning and all prophesy being fulfilled at that time.

Not only to settle the question in our own minds but to fight the anti-Christians that are writing all of the books using the Christians refusal to believe it as an excuse to say that Christ was not really Divine in His knowledge of it and that He was a XXXXXX I cannot even post the accusations that they are making in their books. Like it or not, many are being led astray, including Christians.

James,
I didn't get a post from Nancy asking for my opinion on Dan's post. maybe SI messed that one up too. All sorts of weird things have been happening since they made their "improvements".

The "Israel of God" thing makes sense, in that one must accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I didn't study all of what Dan posted but, in scanning it, did not notice anything that I would disagree with. I do believe, that anyone, from any other faith, or any other walk of life, can achieve this goal, if, and only if, they turn to Jesus. Jesus, and what he taught, is what Christianity is all about. I have told this to many people that have asked me about my Faith, and why I so cherish it, and I calmly tell them of my experiences, the Grace of God, and the Redeeming by Jesus Christ. I say "calmly", because I do not believe in fanaticism as a viable approach to anything. This is contrary to the beliefs of some, but I can't help that. I know what I saw, what I felt, the physical redeeming I received, and nothing can change that experience, and what it taught me.

I am all for the Jews that have accepted Jesus as their Lord, and feel they have the same rights to the promises of God, as told to us by Jesus. But, as I recall, the Hebrew nation was God's chosen people, as long as they appeared to be loyal in their worship to God in the Old Testament but, when so many of the Jews rejected Jesus as the Christ, there is every reason to believe that an adjustment was necessary. After all, Jesus, as a part of God, came to this Earth, lived as a human, and gave His life to cleanse mankind of it's sins, in order to show man the avenue to the Blessings of God. Those that reject this route, planned by God, forfeit the entrance to the Kingdom.
