They do not believe that Christ is the son of God, they are completely monotheistic and do not believe in the Trinity, saints, or anything else divine other than God.

Thank you for justifying the Moslems, but if Jesus Christ cannot be preached then people cannot be given the gospel message. If they cannot be given the gospel message they cannot be saved.

Thomas, there is enough proof that Allah is a devil and not the God of the scriptures.

For the most part, they are deeply respectful of both Christianity and Judaism, since Mohammad studied both of them extensively and considered them the "progenitor" religions of Islam.

You have been duped! You come across on this thread as if you were an expert on religion but guess what?....Mohammad could neither read nor write! He was a butcher, raiding caravans, and pretty much doing whatsoever he pleased. Some believe he was an epileptic but his followers being such "spiritual beings" believed these were really revelations.

Christianity will not play second fiddle to a false religion no matter how many followers it recruits.

Bottom line, Muhammed was not a holy man at all, and Allah was an idol.

THE SCRIPTURES SAY THAT THOSE WHO DENY CHRIST ARE ANTI-CHRIST. MOHAMMED AND HIS DEITY ALLAH ARE INDEED ANTI-CHRIST!

Most of them pray to Allah at least five times a day, and with considerably more sincerity than most people here go to church.

So just because they are sincere means a Christian should respect a religion that mocks the cross of Christ?

In case you didn't know it Muslims do not respect the deity of Jesus Christ, in fact they are so vehemently against the work of the cross that they declare publicly, SAY NOT THAT ALLAH HAD A SON!

But then.....wait a minute.... perhaps they are right, Allah had no son, only God the eternal Father in heaven had one only begotten son, named Jesus!

You really think a Christian should sweetly sidestep the issue of salvation because they are so sincere in their own beliefs? I don't know what religion you have but it certainly is not a militant or truthful one if that's what you really believe.

It well said that the steps to hell are paved with good intentions.

Thomas, of course Chris dramatically overstated/misstated things in regard to Moslems considering it an honor to murder Christians. And it may be the picture of Moslems you paint is true of a majority of the Moslems of the world, in particular western-educated Moslems.

However, it is a fact that there is still today a good deal of persecution of Christians in Moslem lands, including Egypt and Saudi Arabia. A short search on google turned up a number of links reporting such persecution in Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Indonesia, and elsewhere - including non-Moslem countries like China.

Okay, I'll stop with these links. All in all, there is a massive amount of documentation out there of active, ongoing persecution of Christians and it would seem that the Moslem countries are in the lead in this activity, though some non-Moslem countries are involved as well. Furthermore, the persecution isn't limited to a particular country going through troubled times (i.e. Indonesia) but is widespread.

You mention that you travel to Egypt frequently. Have you had much candid contact with members of the Christian minority in that country?
