Zbyslaw --

The issue with VDSL is standards. To date I believe ANSI and ETSI haven't determined which modulation to "bless." DMT won the ADSL war but will it win VDSL?

Lucent and Globespan are behind CAP. ALA, Siemens, Ericsson, TXN, NEC, MOT, and a long list of others are behind DMT.

I've been out of touch with the standards' debate for a long time so perhaps someone can bring me up to speed.

Pat

Food for thought...
since the Alcatel merger the value of a newbridge (ala .8) share has over doubled. not bad for anyone who has been holding ala shares.
Terry holdings in ala has gone from 2.4 billion to over 5 billion in this time period.

over and out.
