Morning Jeff

I did my bit to enrich the Mukelshoot Nation with a purchase that included the "Millennium Flash," some run-of-the-mill firecrackers and some rockets that were mounted on 4' launchers.

We set them off at a neighbor's house (I have a rule that fireworks are always to be used in front of someone else's house, never mine). A good time was had by all.

There was an incident that reminded me and brought home just how dangerous fireworks can be. One of the other revelers (a reckless teenager no doubt) set off one of those bricks that have about 12 shots in it. The firework fell on its side and started launching horizontally. This was made all the more interesting because each time it shot off a rocket, the brick would spin around, so where the next random shot would go was a mystery. Luckily, no one was hurt.

How was vacation? See any sharks?
