Hi Carlos
Just saw one of the PT's on the road today. Sure nice looking vehicle. Too bad they're made by Chrysler. It'll be a snowy day in July before I ever buy another Chrysler product.

A few years back we had two of them - Dodge Caravan and a Dodge 600 (nothing looking car - ordinary).

You talk about boats being a deep black hole that you keep throwing money into. Hell, boats are cheap compared to Chrysler products.

Planed obsolecence is what I call it. As soon as the warranty ran out - bang, new transmission on the Caravan. The Dodge - compression problems. You name it, we had it - both vehicles.

Just before the 2nd transmission on the Caravan, sold it - 1000 bucks. Only person who'd buy it was a Chrysler Dealership employee who could fix it up and get parts cheap.

Worst of all, the service manager at the dealership where we bought these pigs left and lo and behold he was at the Suzuki dealership where I bought my next car. We chatted for a while and he said the sad thing is that they are still running off the same Caravans on the assembly line - no changes. Still the same crap. I feel sorry for all those poor suckers I see on the road driving those things. And a V-six with fuel injection? Don't bloody touch them.

Too bad, 'cause the PT is sure cute. But Chrysler - barff man, that's all I can say.

So, aren't you all glad you heard from me tonight. I think I'll go and have myself another glass of white wine and see what else I can come up with to post.

BTW Uncle Frank, if you're reading this, thanks for the link.

Cheers,
Rosie
