Don't know. I guess Joe and Bob weren't the best of friends from their days at T. All I know is that Bob left GBLX with a nice $40MM package after only a few months "on the job." Its an "Ovitz-Disney" thing all over again. BTW, my retired friend e-mailed this week to say first VoDSL, then VDSL. First things first. I can only hope that when SBC is ready to push out some VDSL trials they think of my little CO in Bev Hills. Most likely, the way things have been going, it'll likely be in TX somewhere, probably in San Antonio where a few of SBC's execs live. Just like the BLS FTTH trials in Atlanta. Regards, lml
