Hi Mike: The way the press operates today, I personally no longer take anything at face value. My wife has her own PR firm. Its a billion dollar industry to get a message out that is not necessarily balanced, or fully accurate. Today's news is merely spin, which can change direction as quickly as the wind. Regardless, I find the EETimes article identifying USW's VDSL rollout in Scottsdale, AZ, as number one on the chopping block, a fairly bold statement bound to have repercussions both among USW's subs, as well as industry observers and competitors. Just look at the response on this thread to this terse statement buried in the middle of the article.
