Doug, nothing to do with the gorilla: you have...Adobe Acrobat 4.0
Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0
installed.

I have Acrobat 4.0 also and seem to remember Adobe
suggested removing any READER before installing AA 4.0
I did this and all my pdf reading is done with AA 4.0
