Edit: as i went out to mow the lawn, it occurred to me that there is a way to have achieved 34 percent. Drug stocks. If you bought the drugs, and caught the lows, you could have done better than 34 percent. Perhaps that explains it.

DMP, check APA, BR, EEX, OEI, OIL, POG, RIG, UPR, VPI, XTO.

These are all oil and gas, emphasis on gas.

Check the natural gas index, XNG.
