ML(7/5) report on ICGE..'.believe this may be an opportune entry point...reiterate
Accumulate/Buy rating.......ICG posed to appreciate once the market improves.the
B2B IPO window opens and B2B sentiment returns more positive....the stock is more
liquid which should mute the effect of the 144 sales going forward;cash burn beyond
2Q should slow significantly and ICG has several capital-raising options to fortify its
cash balance when it sees fit...Lockup expirations are pretty much completed...we
believe B2B is still a very big opportunity that will create some very valuable
independent companies-some of which are likely to emerge from the ICG stable...Six
of ICG's partner
companies(ClearCommerce,CommerX,PaperExchange,LinkShare,Context Integration
and ServiceSoft) are currently sitiing on file with the SEC waiting for the IPO window
to re-open...more unfiled companies promising.....beachheads in Europe and
Asia......several "homeruns" more than offset the "losers".....much of the negativity is
already priced into the stock'
