Doug, good work! I'll miss that gorilla. :) This is one of my pet peeves: intrusive software, and there's entirely too much of it around, starting with PC manufacturers' stuff getting you to THEIR special web sites. Another example is MSN, my ISP [MSN is sort of OK] which refuses to let me start surfing from anywhere but the MSN site. Whose PC is it anyway?

Gottfried :)

hi DS,

"The mystery is solved. It was Net Toob."

well i sure feel smart. you posted a list of 49 items located in your add/remove program, and i asked about two of 'em... the first of which was NET TOOB! #reply-14013892

you did some good detective work there, DS, on a tough to solve situation. i was confident that we were going to shock the monkey, it was only a matter of time. <g3>

i am impressed, as are you, with the way things sometimes get resolved around here. and you're welcome for the patience and time. i enjoy it and always end up learning as much as anyone.

:)
