Morning, folks. Favorites?

I love things like this, Volt ... sitting here at loose ends this a.m. already worrying about next week ... this is a good 'exercise' for me today <g> ...

Here are mine:

Author(s): Vonnegut, Larry McMurtry, Sylvia Plath, Hunter S. Thompson, Harper Lee ("To Kill A Mockingbird") ... and about 10 contemporary courtroom drama/detective novelists i.e. John Sandford, Ed McBain ... AND Po Bronson (formerly of Wired magazine ... y'all should read "Bombardiers" (about bond traders) and "The First 20 Million is Always the Hardest" (about Silicon Valley prod dvlopmt/start-ups)

Singer(s): Jose Carreras, Aaron Neville; and SRV, Steve Winwood & Dr. John as overall musicians (not just 'singers')

Song Writers: Pachelbel, Ravel, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and ... John Lennon <g>

Philosopher: Now that I know something about him, Voltaire, of course ... HEY VOLT: have you ever posted any of his quotes here? Fascinating.

Quote: "Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered with failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat." - T. Roosevelt in 1899

Stock: Have to say AMAT, although I still hold a certain 'fondness' (read: unhealthy emotional attachment) to DELL

What's everybody think this week's gonna bring?

Hi Voltaire

some of the best times I have had is asking those questions while in a group and learning a lot.

I think so too. If I were to describe ourselves based on what our stated preferences are, I'd say:

Voltaire is a student of human behaviour
Jim Willie is a hopeless romantic
Bonnuss is very complex

It's hard to describe yourself without prejudice, but I'd say I was simple - as in not complex.

What do you think?

Rose.
