so rats have taken over this thread<g>

Had a white rat once, "Rat". We were heading up north one New years, and had to stick him in his cage for the weekend. "Rat" wasn't used to living in his cage(he was a free roaming rat)for more than the night.

At that time, we hadn't thought anything of it so we stuck him in there with plenty of water and food, and off we went.

Sadly, upon our return we discovered Rat dead in his cage. Half on his running wheel, the other half on the floor of his cage. Our best bet was that he ran himself to death trying to escape from his prison.

We never got another rat, do they have rat kennels?
