MORE: You may buy CSCO with predicted growth (after acquisitions) of 41.26% (FY ending 7/00) or FFIV with predicted growth of 257.62% (FY ending 9/00). Numbers for FY '01 are also favorable for F-5--42.30% predicted growth for FFIV FY ending 9/01 vs. 30.73% predicted growth for CSCO FY ending 7/01. ...Then there is the subject of those clever writeoffs Cisco utilizes so often. This time it's a 2c a share writeoff for the Netiverse purchase. ...Or the subject of takeover premium.

Yet you still may pay $44 PER SHARE for F-5 which is expected to earn 18c PER SHARE in the quarter or $65 3/8 PER SHARE for Cisco which is expected to earn 15c PER SHARE in its most recent quarter.

FFIV net income for the quarter: 3.8M
CSCO net income for the quarter: 1.05B

Buy the Gorilla, trade the monkey...

If your lucky F5 will get taken out before their earnings growth slows to a crawl.

F5 is sitting right on support at 44, I don't think that level will hold. 40 is the next stop, if it holds I will buy for a trade, if it breaks I would consider shorting it.
