Ausdauer, Thanks very much for dredging up that post. Derek sounds like he has a good handle on who makes what and what is what. He says that SuperFlash is only as large as 4Mbit. Maybe the truth is that they get manufacturing efficiency but only on very small die. There is probably an engineering reason for this. In this light, their claim of scalability is rather nebulous and valid only within a very narrow context, and has nothing to do with being able to address the mass storage market. This changes everything... I may know an engineer who can shed some light on this -- if he's willing. Also, a good idea to contact the company... wily
