I don't believe that a cpa firm will release the formal statement like that without it being reviewed by legal counsel. You did not post the link but it sounds like what the accountant was quoted as saying was inappropriate. My guess is that VARL does not trade again until KPMG completes its findings and issues some kind of statement. I hope for the present holders' sakes that the statement turns out to be benign but I am not holding my breath.

Actually, Mr. Stone, you've now uncovered silverlining #2 -- castigation of the auditors in favor of a Big 5 [not that a Big 5 is necessarily better, but it brings credibility, which is what Vari-L needs now]. Reviewing my prior posts.
