AlibiDan - Re: "Link Please ..First time AMD will have access to the server market."
Uh....when will this happen, Lewinsky ?
Last week you said SMP would be here in 2 months - so, one week has passed already - any signs of AMD SMP chip sets?"

Here's your LINK where you said AMD will have Servers for Exodus in TWO MONTHS (from July 3 !!)

Re: And Exodus decided to Purchase Intel's equipment just a month or so ago...
Exactly why I wrote that I think SiS's integrated motherboard may be more helpful in gaining server business than an SMP board.

I'm not worried about the SMP chipset, it's the integrated chipset that AMD needs next.

When Intel made that particular decision last spring AMD was on the ropes, and it looked like Intel could do pretty much whatever they wanted to.

Currently Exodus has no choice - in just a couple of months, they will have a choice. So what will they choose? And you think they won't be giving AMD based servers every possible opportunity? What would you do in their position? C'mon Paul, be honest. Faced with buying from a neutral third party and someone who's trying to cut your throat, what would you do?
