Evil is such a subjective term. In my opinion, they are simply monetizing sharholder ignorance.

Until the public finally learns the scams of the trade, i don't see any way to stop it, since the SEC is firmly in the back pocket of the big banks and brokerages.

But even then- there's a new sucker born every second!
