*OT* To The Thread: I had the chance to see the film "Sunshine" last evening. I don't usually recommend films on the thread, but I have to tell you all, this is about the best film I have seen in years. If you have a chance to see it, don't pass it up. I have never seen one film that so intensely and tastefully replays this tragic century in Europe. Ralph Fiennes is at his best. The film is 3 hours. I never left my seat. Fantastic. Set in Budapest, you really get a sense of what life was like for the young George Soros as he fled the Nazis. The cinematography is breathtaking. It reminded me of Sven Nykvist (who shot almost all of Bergman's films). Anyway. Just a suggestion.
