Isn't backward compatibility the problem? Isn't it true that a current CDMAOne handset, such as the QUALCOMM 860, is NOT compatible with WCDMA? Isn't that the reason the Europeans were so anxious to adopt a standard that wasn't compatible with CDMAOne?
