GlobalMarine: Re: "Niceguy: Get off the thread, you short-selling basher! :o)" Comment: Can't help it if "good tidings" for AMD are offensive to some...Just trying to assist those who are short from getting clobbered over the next 3 to 4 weeks and, for that matter, throughout Y2000...Not (m)any companies out there that are looking at stringing together 5 successive record breaking (i.e both in revenues and earnings)quaters by Y2000 year end...with the very real possibility of $2.00, $3.00 and $4.00 in eps in Q2, Q3 and Q4 respectively making for a Y2000 eps certainly above $7.00 and maybe even eclipsing the $10.00 hurdle, on a pre-split basis, of course...I feel morally obligated, based upon my strongly felt convictions, to warn anyone who is short AMD of their unreasonable risk exposure given the high probability of an AMD price explosion anytime now...
