Literally the court room using a phone line in here while on lunch break with my laptop. Got to hurry. I should have known something big was going to happen this week. My internal life radar was going off all weekend and told me this was going to be one of those weeks that I'm tested. I could feel it coming. Happens several times a year when things get going so darn fast and furious. Have a huge trial this week. Woke up early and wham... the JDSU news. Boy, talk about pressure packed. Oh well, like I've said before, sometimes you wake up and life just hits ya square in the jaw. The key is to get back up, shake it off, smile, and move on. That's what I am doing. I see this with JDSU as a super opportunity. I have no idea what the posts on here or the other boards, the news, are saying. Like I say, I've been in court this morning and will be all week. But, this thing is huge. This news will be viewed as one of the most significant deals ever going forward I think. JDSU will take a hit. The company shelling out the money in such a deal usually does. I would NOT sell in here. No way. Let the market absorb this news a bit. We may see JDSU trade at this level awhile. That is why I like calls 4-6 months out, gives ya time to come back. Thankfully I have rotated out of 2/3's of my Sept JDSU calls, and those remaining, I still have profit in at this level today. RR Plan: 1. I am buying more XXZLR's. 2. I am re-entering a significant position in YDIAN, Jan 02, 70's. 3. I am holding the Sept calls. Not selling in here. Again, I see this news as huge and positive. Just think of the powerhouse this company will be after this goes through. I can tolerate a period of time for it to be range bound in here. I'm not worried. They said that JDSU, SDLI, and ETEK will all beat earnings. Darn, that was the bump I was hoping for, just wish this merger news would have come in 30 days later instead. Troops, those are my initial thoughts. Again, I have not had time to read any other posts, see/read any news on it except what I saw early on CNBC as I was leaving the house. I could be wrong on my assessment. But, I am seizing the moment and executing my 3 step plan above. Good luck. RR
