The stimulus policy just postpones the downsizing and restructuring that's needed until the next US pres.

One comments I saw on Bloomberg over the weekend is French Financial Minister argured that rising rates in Japan will cause a strong yen, and in turn hurt Japanese exports. Were Europe and US afraid of Japan' massive exports in car, TV, VCR, etc, not long time ago? Why suddenly they are so concerned about hurting Japanese exporters?

Japan exports not only alot of car, TV, etc, but also a lot of capitals.
