Yes, I've heard of Echelon before... and that they have the ability to intercept all forms of media transmissions using keyword systems, etc... Pretty gross, although some people would defend its existence and use from the viewpoint of national security. As for the Blue Angels, Snowbirds, and the RCMP Musical Ride, I always think that these are probably beneficial forms of government expenditures. At least these are expenses which the public can "enjoy". The stuff that I really despise is waste on studies and research which nobody every bothers to read or even bother to take into consideration during policy development... and yes... I am making an oblique reference to sewage sludge.....hee hee... ;-}>
