rick....the quote i posted was a current bid/ask from the trader....last trade was probably a year ago! i think you need to take it to a higher up at fidelity asap.....you may want to speak to fidelity compliance department to see if it can be resolved within the firm..... the contract is only illiquid if you want to buy or sell....should have no bearing if you want to exercise....at the point of your instruction to exercise, the current holder of your contracts must immediately fulfill the contract economic obligation.....
