>>>calling of the convertible>>>

This is the first I have heard of a recall. It was suggested a long while ago that the convertible could be used as a vehicle for shorting the stock. When is the recall?

Thanks---Peter

Does anyone have any idea how the calling of the convertible will effect the EPS of WIND?

If I remember my accounting rules correctly (and it has been some time since I dealt with this), the shares related to convertible debt are counted in the fully dilutive EPS number reported. So calling the bonds should increase the numerator (EPS) by reducing interest expense and have no effect on the EPS denominator (no. of shares). Therefore, this transaction should be accretive.
