Afternoon my friend,

Yes, 41 + billion is a big pill but I think Houses and street will quickly look at the accretive nature of this deal and basically give thumbs up. I understand where Bonnuss is coming from but remember, half the street hated AOL and they were not exactly in love with Warner either. THE HOUSE MUST LOVE YOU ARE IT IS ALWAYS A NEAR TERM DEATH. Just ask QCOM.

Give me an apparent lousy looking stock the Houses love as opposed to a good looking stock they do not desire.

Hi Jim: Yeah, you almost nailed that one.... close but no cigar, but still super that you heard something rumored.

Well, I tell ya, Jim... I'm still at the office and after a long day have just not had time to read anything about this merger. But, it doesn't matter to me. I like it. I think it is powerful. It took guts for JDSU to step out there and do this.

It will be easy for people to criticize from the technical aspects. Well, that is fine. I use to square root the market years ago and could do it fine with my background, but I finally said the heck with it and have done better ever since using my mere experience and gut reaction.

Maybe that is some of the V-man's stuff.... don't know.

Anyway, I can't help but think that my YDIAN's are going to explode by Jan 02.

Those in shorter term options may have gotten stung unfortunately. That's a risk of options that I personally well assume.

One last thought.... and I guess this is why I get excited about stuff like this, and companies doing things wild like this..... because those companies usually win. They are not losers and they tell the square rooters to kiss their you know what while they laugh all the way to the bank. Let's see now.... EJ (Invictus) how many times over the years did we hear that Intel was finished......

I like to look my opponent in the eyes sometimes when I'm into a tough situation and tell them "The worst mistake you can make is to underestimate me." (Hey, Rose, that is another one I use a lot). I thought of that phrase this morning when I was sitting there thinking about this deal.

Bring it on....
