I dont think so....I think that it is based on IS-95B which, to the best of my knowledge, is still circuit-switched. I certainly hope that it is circuit-switched....otherwise I've lost one of my reasons that DDI is lagging NTT.

I cant seem to find a definitive answer....

Any comments from people who know? I didnt think that CDMA was going to offer an always-on connection until 1xrtt.
