while we're straying off topic on JDS-SDL: tidalwavs.com i don't mean to be simplistic, but if my arithmetic is right, and forgive a little million-dollar rounding: JDSU = 48x annualized quarterly revs (excluding ETEK). @$41B, SDLI = 134x annualized quarterly revs. even with JDSU now at $96 per share, SDLI = 97x annualized quarterly revs (twice JDSU!). i'm all for owning the new new gorilla in this space, but isn't this a wee bit pricey? or is this simply today's price of admission (including cover charge to outbid GLW)?
