Re: "Volume dried right up - no one else wants to sell at this level but it seems like there is a reluctance to buy AMD up more than $4 a day.
Still, I am pretty happy to go up at just $4 a day if that is what it takes :^)"

Comment: Looks like the Nasdaq wants to join the DOW in positive territory...If the Nasdaq successfully meets this challenge, perhaps the consolidating phase around the $86 level will terminate abruptly? Next test $90? (Current $85-1/16 on 3.75 million shares...

Gotta get out to stretch the legs 'til about 2:00 at which time we'll hopefully see a volume pickup and an accompanying (successful (?))test of today's high of $87-5/8 before the day is out!

Just got back..I see the Nas has turned marginally positive...All we need now is strengthening Nas and pickup in AMD volume rate...all of which could make for an enjoyable PM...Just went by 4 million shares...Looks like 5 million is in the bag, maybe even 7 million!!! (I have a feeling that the trader is doing his/her utmost to keep the lid on AMD at $86...any volume surge this PM could easily blow the lid off $86!!!)

Re: "Volume dried right up"

Comment: Hopefully many day orders out there (that'd be my guess based upon today's trading pattern)trying to get filled in $85 to $86 range and those large number remaining unfilled in the last hour will up the bid!!! Purely speculation and wishful thinking on my part though!
