Etymologically speaking, the leading "question" contains an assumed predicate, ie a statement of a fact not yet established, as an established fact. ANY answer to the question, therefore implicitly acknowledges the presumed predicate fact as "true".

What is significant is that Craig Barrett basically said that Intel sold some or all of its position because Micron did not perform in promoting Rambus. Pretty direct statement.
