as long as you have the desire to own, and the cash to accept the assignment, the strategy at these levels can be profitable........what is your time frame for expiration and most important what is your risk tolerance. you can look at small prems by selling front month below market strikes, or go out longer(it will tie up capital...but calculate your rate of return) for a larger premium.

if you plan to build a home, then please limit your risk....why not consider your new home as a better investment then stock purchase? i use the reference to investment, not in the financial sense, but the quality of life sense....your decision...
