SDLI bouncing around. JDSU drops $1, so SDLI should drop $3.80.

Weakness seems to have set in -- I was expecting a day's end rally.

I was thinking the same thing. If the merger doesnt close until December, then we have 5 months of thin trading because the stock is too expensive for the individual investor. They could alter the terms of the agreement to be 1.9 shares of JDSU for every SDLI share after the split but don't know if there are any precedents for this type of move.

Bottom line is we now are married to JDSU. The stock will not move on its own merits or fundamentals. It will move based upon DOJ rumours (ala MSFT), JDSU earnings, the sector in general.

I also cannot believe the stock isn't nearer 350. There is now a 20% premim.
