-- 7/10/2000 3:53:00 PM Net ad spending jumps 54%
According to research firm AdZone Interactive, Dot-com ad spending has increased to about $1.26 billion from approximately $819 million from January to June this year. "Brand expenditures, Web Site and Web Site Network revenues continue to grow significantly despite talk of a dot.com slow down," said John Cardona, president of AdZone Interactive (see 3:10 item). Nevertheless, DoubleClick (dclk: news, chart) has extended its losses, now off 4 1/8 at 31 13/16.
