Ted, you're not an options trader - just hold tight. Five things on the horizon -

1) More good news on the chipset front.
2) Expansion of lines to incorporate Durons.
3) T-Bird to go over one Gig (purely good pr) - (hopefully they stick it to Intel with a REAL launch of stockpiled Birds.
4) Great earnings.
5) Split coming.

All in due time ...

Dave

re: "Double digit after tax is at least $15 pre-tax. This definitely is the most bullish report I have seen from any analyst.

And we barely go up. I am disappointed....we had 2 upgrades but we only went up 2 pts. I don't get what is holding back the funds from loading up.
Of course I am assuming they have $...maybe that's not true.

comment: The next wave is just building momentum...It may take the "blow out" Q2 earnings to get to triple digits, but I'm not ruling out the possibility of triple digits prior to Q2 earnings...In any event, one can expect a series of "good news" AMD releases over the next 3 to 4 week period, the cumulative effect of which will be to carry AMD to a much, much higher price than today's $84!!!Just no rhyme or reason for AMD to be trading under $120 ($150 even!)today in light of the BofA analysis!!!

Same ole thing....
1. General market and possible future rate hikes.
2. Fear of Intel pulling a rabbit out of the hat...

You need not look any further....

Comment(2): Takes time for the general market to digest that superb content of the BofA report...Signs in today's aftermarket indicating that tomorrow's AMD opening could be interesting! A couple more BofA type releases, which could come any time, and AMD double digits could easily be history, at least until split occurs!
