Uh, yes, I was speaking about my "Johnson" - (at least you know to capitalize)

I was fortunate enough to buy in the 14's - seeing you short is making this all the more enjoyable

highest regards,

Nice to see you here.

Hi Auric:

I have a few questions on why WSTL has made your short list.

Background:
I entered a position last week when it appeared to set a bottom @ $13 (I purchased on the pullback after the reversal right after the capacity news was released). This is a double bottom from the last time @ $13 in May.

I've been following the stock for years (I owned Amati when they made the effort to acquire Amati few years back) and feel at least over the next 3 to 5 years DSL will compete well with cable and wireless for internet access. I know they sell to Bell Atlantic, GTE (now part of BA) and now SBC (at least rumored and not announced but SBC's product sounds like WSTL's).

The elimination of the floorless and the announcement of entering an agreement to increase capacity to meet demand were the two final points for my investment.

I know valuation is high but what isn't in this market. There are better shorts from a valuation standpoint.

What are the negatives I'm missing here. I know you wouldn't be short without good reason.

Thanks in advance.

Tim
