Thanks John, I keep getting e-mails from people and the odd reference to my posts here on the Stockhouse forum where I also am quite active so I know there are some others out there. Actually it is interesting, on the Stockhouse site it shows how many times a post has been viewed and the posts get viewed a whole lot more than I figure the number of people doing the posting could generate themselves. I find it surprising sometimes how many people watch the threads but don't take part. Anyhow, thanks again - I think we have a winner here!!!

Salut,
Leigh McBain

JULY 12, 2000

COMMONWEALTH E-MAIL LIST UPDATE

We received notice this morning from the FRAC Company that a FRACCING Unit will be on location and servicing the BEDSOLE #1 well on July 26 or July 27. We are to receive confirmation as to which of the two dates shortly and will then do a News Release.

This is welcome news to us as it has been difficult to get this equipment. Two of the larger service rig companies shut down two years ago when oil prices were at $10.00 and gas prices around $1.50 / MCF. Therefore, supply has been unable to keep up with the surging demand for this type of equipment due to the recent rise in the price of Natural Gas. Natural Gas prices this morning as quoted on the New York Mercantile Exchange are $4.33 US / MCF.

The FRAC treatment is expected to take one day to complete. Once the FRAC is completed, the well will be flow tested and put on production. The flow test is a 24-hour test and then it should take us 5-10 days to hook the well up to the Gas Pipeline.

I will continue to provide you with ongoing updates.

Yours truly,

Doug Wolters

Interesting response to the news that we have the frac. Given that it is now a known commodity, another 2 weeks, I am not so sure that I understand today's surge. There has been some rumor of some additional deals being worked on and so I guess there is a chance that there is something happening on a totally different front that was driving today's activity.

I spoke with Doug regarding the move and he indicated that because of the general state of confusion down there over getting ahold of frac trucks, service rigs, etc. the response to the news that we had a hard date was very positive, more so than would normally be expected. They are doing some additional prep work on the well right now so a "today's well pressure" was unavailable, but the wellhead pressure just before they had to bleed it off to get to work was up to 7100 psi, now that's not bad.
I had heard originally that Jim was likely to get it moving prior to flow testing so we may very well not see it settle back like I thought it might, although this morning has been pretty much as I expected so far.
