Sam, If your trading stocks, make sure your in the right ones. Stick with stocks in the right sectors and that are coming off decent basing patterns. I had a hard time believing the market closed so weak, the stocks on my watch list traded like the NDX was up 70. There is plenty of money to made on the long side even in a down market like today.

Actually, that's not true.

In fact, a very large percentage - perhaps more than half - of the trades made by individuals go through an ECN.
