I do know. And I buy it because true organic is infinitely better than the adulterated crap they sell in the average supermarket.

The sad fact is, almost 95% of the stuff sold as food on grocery store shelves today is nothing more than longterm poison. It's bursting with dangerous additives, injected with artificial hormones and antibiotics, blasted with radiation, soaked in pesticides, insecticides and herbicides. Ingesting this potpourri of crap leads to cirulatory disease, heart disease, arthritis, cancers and premature aging.

Avoid "farm-raised" fish too, like salmon. Almost all nutritive value and the Omega fatty acids are greatly diminished. Only fresh, ocean or lake salmon are really healthy for you.

Assemblyline poultry and livestock are also a plague -- so avoid them like the plague.

Now that we know the true harm that trans-fatty acids do, it may well be true that Crisco has killed more people than cigarettes since that hydrogenated product was first introduced in 1908.

ABC to Apologize for "20/20" Report

So much for reporter John Stossel's unconventional wisdom.

ABC News has announced it will issue a rare mea culpa on Friday's edition of 20/20 for a fraudulent on-air report by Stossel on the safety of organic foods.
