Last sentiment number I saw said about one in three were bearish. suite101.com Pretty high number of bears for a market with an historical upwards bias. I think bulls/(Bulls+Bears) is still in the high 50% range and Bob used to say it was not even a warning until it got to 70%. A contrarian might see it as somewhat bullish to have so many bears running around.
